Ham and Fig-Jam Sandwiches
This is my new favorite sandwich. One afternoon I was trying to figure out what I
wanted for dinner, but I knew that I did not want to cook....It was so gorgeous out
side and this was the dinner I came up with and it was/is amazing. My new go-to
meal. These are perfect to wrap up and take on a picnic with a loved one. YUM
Ham and Fig Jam Sandwiches
Ciabatta rolls, Toasted
4 slices Black Forest ham - I used Boars Head
Prosciutto
Fresh mozzarella, sliced thick
a bunch of baby spinach
Fig jam
salt and pepper
olive oil
Toast your rolls and layer your ingredients. Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
Put jam on the one side of the roll. Put together and serve. You will be in bliss.
Val I love these! I love fig jam! My mom makes this pizza with fig jam! I love how you used salty meats too, I bet it was the perfectly sweet and salty!
ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant idea! This sandwich looks delicious. I have fig jam at home, but always put it on crackers as part of a cheese plate with wine. I never thought about using it on a sandwich (even though it's jam - duh).
