Sesame Green Beans
I love green beans and this is my go to and favorite way to eat green beans.
I make this exact recipe with asparagus, as well. Nothing fancy just fast, and
easy and very tasty. I hope you give them a try and let me know what you think.
Sesame Green Beans
1 pound green beans, trimmed
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 to 3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
In a large skillet heat olive oil and sesame oil. Trim and wash green beans and
place in the pan, stir well. Add soy sauce, garlic and sesame seeds and cook
for about 10 minutes or until tender.
Note - I like to add red pepper flakes in this as well.
I love green beans too! I'll definitely be trying this soon.

We are big green beans fans, too! The classic garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper gets boring, so I can't wait to mix it up with this version!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to try these! I have never found a green bean recipe I love but this looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI typically make green beans at dinner and my kids want no part of it - can't say I blame them because they are really just steamed and bland. This recipe looks great and I will most definitely be trying it to spruce up our boring veggies!
ReplyDeleteThere is probably no way I WOULDN'T eat a green bean. That's the extent of my green-bean-love. This looks delicious!!!
