Manchego, Kielbasa and Kale Pizza

Oh, pizza....oh how I love you!!! I could eat pizza everyday for the rest of my life. I'll
take it with sauce or with out. I grew up in New England and Kielbasa was a staple food
in the East Coast. When I first moved out my parents house when I was 20..all I knew
how to make was Kielbasa 20 different ways. I'm laughing as I write this because truly,
I did not know how to cook a thing but good ole Kielbasa. Flash forward to the present
time...I still love the sausage goodness but like to eat in creative ways. You are going
to love this Pizza. I promise.

                                                         Manchego, Kielbasa and Kale Pizza

        1 bag ( 10 oz ) chopped Kale
        1 lb. pizza dough
1 1/2 cups shredded manchego cheese
6 oz kielbasa or any sausage you like
        1 tablespoon olive oil
        salt and pepper
        red pepper optional

       1) Preheat oven to 500 degrees.
       2) Boil kale for 3-5 minutes, drain and squeeze excess water.
       3) Meanwhile - roll dough onto floured surface roll out your dough.
       4) Sprinkle dough with manchego cheese, kielbasa, kale and spices.
cook for about 7 to 10 min or until done and drizzle with olive oil.

  3. Oooh this looks delicious! My boyfriend will love it too because of the sausages. I've been searching and searching for kale in South Africa, but my efforts have been fruitless, I can't seem to find it anywhere :/ Do you know of an easy substitute, I've never tasted it before so I don't know.

  41. I make homemade pizza on a regular basis as a family tradition. I've been using the same whole wheat pizza dough for years.

But this? This takes things to a whole new level. But, that's why your blog is what it is! Taking food to a whole new level! :) I can't keep up with your recipes.

I love cheese, and I've never had this particular kind. Alright another recipe to report on after I make it.

The sweet potato fries where delicious. And that sauce is out of this world. The only problem is the kids want to just eat the sauce! Hahhaha

    Take care,

    Shauna
