WARNING! This cake is extremely moist, delicious, and
highly addicting. If you make this for a loved one you
will be a hero.
Banana Cake
1 stick of butter
3 large eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 banana's, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream
2 1/2 cups of flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1) In a large bowl mix together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla,
Set a side.
2) In another bowl mix together flour, salt, soda, and powder.
Add the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Add the
sour cream and bananas and mix.
3) Put into a greased 9 by 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for
30 to 35 min. Cool.
Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting
1 8oz package cream cheese, room temperature
1 stick of butter, room temperature
3 cups of powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 to 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
Mix and pour over cake.

ReplyDeleteI made this cake tonight (only I added walnuts cause I like 'em), and it really is as good as you said it was! My icing didn't turn out like yours, though, it was a thick lump, so I added a bit of milk to it, saved the day. Thank you for sharing the recipe with us!
