in Westlake. I think it's our new favorite, already.

Admitting You Have A Problem!!!

Admitting is the first step to recovery with my love affair
with make up. So today is the day that I came to terms with an
addiction, I love so much. When I walk into a mall and see
a Bare Escentuals store it's like a light is above it and it's just
guiding me in. Buy me, You need me, You want me. Yes, I get
very weak and cave. I guess it would not be that bad if I only
had this addiction, But...I'm addicted to shoes and bags. The
list goes on. I will post my other Love's soon. What is your
guilty pleasure?

Cherry Rice Pilaf And Roasted Pork

I'm a lover of all things Cherry. It's true, I can never

1 red onion, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
1/2 cup dried cherries ( I added more)
1/2 cup glazed walnuts
1 teaspoon thyme
3 cups of cooked rice (white or brown)
salt and pepper

In a medium pan, melt butter over medium heat. Saute
red onion, celery, cherries, walnuts and thyme until tender
about 8 min. Combine with cooked rice, add salt and pepper.

Pork Loin With Cherry Glaze

1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
3 tablespoons of honey
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon of cloves
salt and pepper
3 pounds boneless pork loin

1) Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2) In a small saucepan, combine cherry jam, red wine vinegar,
honey, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Stir and bring to a boil,
reduce the heat, and simmer 2 minutes.

rack in shallow roasting pan. Brush with cherry glaze and bake
uncovered until cooked through. After resting 10 to 15 minutes,

Pasta Salad

This is hands down my most requested dish! When there
are parties this is what I'm asked to make 90 percent
of the time. I tend not to like most pasta salad's because
I'm not a fan of bottled dressings. The dressing is what makes
this. It's so good. You can add turkey instead of pepperoni.
Pasta Salad
1 box rotini pasta
6 ounces pepperoni, diced
6 ounces provolone cheese, diced
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1/2 of a English cucumber, thinly sliced
1/2 of a green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 of a red bell pepper, chopped
black olives, "optional"
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1/4 cup of grated Parmesan
Dressing
1/2 cup of olive oil
1/4 cup of red wine vinegar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground mustard seed
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1) Cook pasta and drain. Rinse with cold water, set aside.
2) In a large bowl, mix the cooled pasta with all the salad
ingredients.
3) Mix the dressing well and pour over pasta salad and mix.
4) Cover and chill for 6 hours.
