A day at the Santa Barbara Zoo


             The other day we went on an impromptu trip to the zoo and had a wonderful -
         afternoon. I love the amazement of a child's face as she looks at incredible animals.
                                                 Here are a few pics of our day!

                                             Now, I'm off to the movies to go see...We bought a Zoo.

    WOW, your post brought so many wonderful memories for me. I grew up in Santa Barbara and used to go to the Zoo all of the time.

    Your daughter is so precious and beautiful, just like her Mommy.

    Did you do an shopping down on State Street? Glad you had fun. Oh, and I heard the movie "The Zoo" is excellent. Have fun! xo ~Liz

    Oh how I love a trip to the zoo - always brings out my inner kid! The birds are soooo colorful. I swear, the best colors really do happen in nature...

    I grew up in Santa Barbara and always feel guilty for ragging on that little zoo now that I live in San Diego. You make it look like the wonder it always was as a little girl growing up.

    i'm having total mixed feelings looking at these pics! i wish we could go to the zoo so bad but it's SOOOOOO freaking cold out! haha. so i'm sad that we can't go but happy that you got to go with your fam! it looks amazing.

    I love going to the Zoo, I don't know that I will ever tire of that. It's so amazing to see all of the animals. And your daughter's face pulls at my heart strings, so sweet!

    Love the Santa Barbara Zoo!! I have an aunt and uncle that live in Santa Barbara, so I've been there a few times and with my kids.
