Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

Don't you love when the hardest part about making a dessert is to unwrap
peanut butter cups? Well, I sure do appreciate this time saving impressive dessert.

Chocolate and peanut butter mixed in with creamy pudding - I'd say that this is
as dreamy and creamy as a dessert can get. Maybe for your Easter table?

                                                            Peanut Butter Cup Trifle

1 box brownie mix - baked and cooled
1 package miniature peanut butter cups
                                               2 packages ( 5.1 ounce ) instant vanilla pudding
                                               4 cups cold milk
                                               1 cup creamy peanut butter
                                               1 teaspoons vanilla extract
3 cartons ( 8 ounces ) each frozen whipped topping, thawed.

            1) Bake brownies according to package - cool and cut into pieces. Set aside.

            2) Cut peanut butter cups and set aside. Save some for garnish. In a large bowl -
whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes. Mixture will be thick.
Add peanut butter and vanilla mix well. Fold in 1 1/2 cartons whipped topping.

           3) Place a third of the brownies in trifle of 5qt glass bowl. Top with a third of the
peanut butter cups. Spoon a third of the pudding mixture over the top. Repeat
layers twice. Cover with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with remaining
peanut butter cups. Refrigerate until chilled.

Note - there is a little topping let over. Enjoy with a spoon. Hehe

  18. I don't know when I am making this but I am making it and soon. I love trifles. Love them. I blogged one of my favorite trifles a few weeks ago. You should steal it and post it. It's so good, you would love it. It's really different but good. Actually it's Tyler Florence's recipe. If you just go to Food Network and search "Blueberry Trife" it will pop up. It has ricotta cheese in it. Very unique and so refreshing. But, my kids saw me looking at this one you've posted here and I'm being held to it, so it wil be made...like I said sooner than later. :) Love to you,

    Shauna xo
