Peanut Butter Cups, what more can you say? YUM. It
is the number one Candy Bar in my family. These are
out of this world good.
Peanut Butter Cups

4 1/4 tablespoons butter, softened
1/2 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
4 milk chocolate candy bars (1.55 ounce each) chopped
1) In a small bowl, combine half cup peanut butter, confectioner's
sugar, and salt until smooth, set aside.
2) In a microwave, melt chocolate chips, candy bars and remaining
peanut butter, stir until smooth.
3)Drop teaspoon fulls of chocolate mixture into paper lined miniature
muffin cups. Top each with a scant teaspoonful of peanut butter
mixture. Refrigerate until set. Store in airtight container.

  1. These look good! I have a recipe that uses graham crackers as a base that is really good, too. Years ago I couldn't make them fast enough- 2 boys and a husband- so I started just rolling the peanut butter mixture into balls and dipping one side in the chocolate. I could make 3 batches in the same time it took to one with the cups. I used to use candy molds, too, so there was half the problem. Waiting for them to set up. Love your pretty papers!

  11. My biggest downfall when it comes to chocolate candy bars are the Reese's Peanut Butter cups. Thank you for indulging me. I will most certainly saving this recipe. :) They look scrumptious. Have a lovely weekend.
